I have a pile of errands to run after work (still finishing the christmas shopping) so I needed comfort again today, but I also have a couple of important meetings. The goal was warm, comfortable, easy to move in, sharp (my errands involve shopping in Scottsdale), and clothing I didn’t need to think about. The result was this outfit.
This sweater was the result of a really successful shopping day at ASOS around cyber monday. Between sale prices and 30% off for cyber monday, I got 2 dresses, this sweater and a tee for about $100. I was very pleased. The sweater is subtly peplum shaped (or, rather, it has a defined waist) but isn’t tight or uncomfortable.
- Sweater (ASOS Curve)
- Tee (ancient)
- Black ponte knit pants (Coldwater Creek)
- Red Scarf (Marshall’s)
- Red bag (Brahmin, purchased off eBay)
- Black Josef Seibel shoes (TJ Maxx)
The bag makes me super happy – I got a great deal on it and it has both a wonderful shape and size. Plus it’s very nice leather and a current style (a varient of the Nancy Dowel Satchel, but with much nicer detailing).
