Today was the PERFECT kind of weather to ride my bike to campus, so I packed my saddlebags and headed in. Over the weekend I bought a hair dryer so that I could blow dry my hair here, and it shows. Looks much better when I dry it. Might need a haircut though. (It’s always a hard decision, since a haircut will make pulling it back when riding more difficult but will make it look better the rest of the time.)
Anyway, the side effect of riding my bike is that I have to put an outfit together that
- Won’t wrinkle in the saddlebags
- Looks good
- Is weather appropriate
- Is also warm enough to be comfortable sitting at my desk
Today’s outfit ticks all the boxes, and doesn’t have even a DROP of black.

Shoes: Pikolinos Gomera in a color called Olmo, which is a variety of browns that make these sandals go with just about everything. Comfortable as well. $112.99
